Logical?

Approximately 13.7 billion years ago our complex universe began (Jim Klopfenstein). All of time, space, and matter were at one single point, smaller than the size of a pinhead (Norman L. Geisler, Frank Turek, and David Limbaugh). Some sort of explosion occurred and caused this point to expand. This is known as the Big Bang Theory, the foundation of our universe. After gazing at our radiant night sky, a question came to me. What was the cause of it all?

According to the multiple universe theory, there are an infinite number of universes in existence (Norman L. Geisler, Frank Turek, and David Limbaugh). Though, they do not all have the same elements ours does that allows us to survive. Yet, by some random chance our pinhead of a point exploded with the perfect conditions for an earth that supports life. In the book, The Creation Revisited, Dr. Peter Atkins said, “Now, we go back into time beyond the moment of creation to where there was no time, and to where there was no space.” He goes on to say that in the time before time he imagines a “swirling dust of mathematical points which recombine again and again and again and finally come by trial and error to form our space time universe.” A swirling dust caused our universe to randomly happen. In his statement Dr. Atkins has contradicted himself, how can there be a moment before time? How can there be mathematical points before there was space?

According to these atheists, randomness caused our multifarious universe. Due to Dr. Atkins contradiction, more logic is needed to support that theory. I could find none. I did happen to come across another theory that seemed interesting. (Paul Davies) St. Augustine of Hippo stated that our world was made “not in time, but simultaneously with time.” Therefore since there was no time before the Big Bang, there was no time for anything to be. Now referring this back to Dr. Atkins statement there is yet another contradiction. Something before time, simultaneously with time; in atheism itself there are inconsistencies.

Within any belief there are inconsistencies. Times Magazine (John Langone and Denis Wyss) wrote an article on scientists finding other galaxies within our universe that were created in the infancy of the universe. This challenges the theory of cold, dark matter taking billion of years to form galaxies, which means that even science itself is constantly discovering new aspects to the beginning of time, and what it really took for our universe to be in existence.

The atheists claim that their point of view is most scientific and logical. They use concepts such as quantum physics support their multiple universe theory. Quantum physics is the concept that its normal for matter such as atoms and molecules to spontaneously come into and out of existence, therefore why is it unusual for the atoms of our universe to spontaneously explode into being (Paul Davies). Though this is true, the oddity of it is that thousands of factors had to be perfectly correct to support life.
